Charles Dickens noted that nothing in the world is so irresistibly contagious as laughter and good humour. This truly human quality, one we take for granted, is likely responsible for us being at the top of the food chain.
Congratulations if you’re reading this! It means you’re alive and if that’s not reason enough to smile, I don’t know what is! I’m smiling as I write this. As stressful as the world is at times, I make it a point to laugh several times a day.
I think we could all use a pick-me-up as we endure the gloomy days of winter. Not a day goes by where I don’t break down and laugh out loud. And that’s a very good thing.
