Stepping through the doors of King City’s Salon & Spa D’Alba is like entering a secluded oasis, protected from the hustle and bustle of everyday living.
Be prepared to be pampered here, because they’re all about personal care, according to owner Alba Degasperis.
“It’s not about a hair cut, but how you make clients feel when they leave,” she said. “We like to make a difference.”
Backed by more than 40 decades of combined experience, the mother and daughter team take great pride in the services they offer. They want clients to feel like they’re relaxing in their own homes. The have an open invitation to “come and sit by the fire with a cappuccino during your service.”
Both Alba and daughter Daniela Fazari created a warm and inviting atmosphere, far removed from some typical hectic salons.
Salon & Spa D’Alba offers a range of hair care, from colouring, colour correction and technical expertise for men, women and children. They offer Aveda’s high-end, plant-derived products.
Also on-site is a part-time aesthetician offering a wide range of skin treatment, as well as manicures and pedicures.
The salon also has a jewellery and accessory boutique too, making it a one-stop shop for all your personal care needs.
The duo moved the salon from Maple eight years ago to its quaint home in King City. Many of their loyal customers remain to this day, and they’ve picked some new ones in the area. They’ve seen tremendous growth in King City over the years and it continues to evolve.
They want the salon to be customers’ “home away from home” where they can feel pampered.
While they welcome walk-in customers, appointments are always preferred.
The salon is meeting customer demand by opening for an extra day starting sometime in September. The new fall hours will now include Tuesdays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Their schedule includes Wednesdays, 10-6; Thursdays, 10-7; Fridays, 10-5 and Saturdays, 9-2.
