Increased demands see budget shortfall

King’s 2023 budget is poised for a tax increase, as costs for the municipality continue to rise. Accommodating growth has also hit the Township for roughly $500,000 and all of these added pressures have led to some shortfalls this year.

Approximately 1,500-1,800 Canadian curlers are participating against the 60 visiting Scottish curlers within the 3-tour group schedule.
