Share your memories like a home-cooked meal!

During my pensive moments, as I contemplated my mortality, I have been hand-held by some fond memories. I was reminded about the best memories of a person’s life, like the birth of a child, a wedding, family vacations and teaching our kids to ride a bike.

Global technology leader to move major operations to King-Jane Business Park in King City

One of the world’s most recognized electronics brands is coming to King Township. LG Electronics Canada (LG) will occupy nearly one million square feet across two buildings at the King-Jane Business Park, becoming one of the Township’s largest employers.

Many rules surrounding use of e-bikes

With the use of e-bikes on the rise, safety and the rules regarding their use are paramount. In King Township, non-motorized vehicles are prohibited in local parks. E-bikes and e-scooters are defined as motorized recreational vehicles and as such, no person in any park shall operate, ride, drive, park or be in possession or control of a motorized recreational vehicle. King Township parks and trails are for people-powered (non-motorized) recreational activities, like walking, running and cycling.

Embracing things and people that make a difference

We try to take care of ourselves and our own families. But we always have an eye out for our fellow men and women – our brothers and sisters. We support those left out in the cold, drowning. Even when resources are thin, we try to help. I have read that the middle class is the largest group of “givers” in our society. The average folk, with often limited funds and time, step up and deliver, time and again.

‘Farm to Table’ event, presented by Eek Farms, enjoyed by over 100 attendees at Sherwood Farm Retreat

The King Chamber of Commerce’s annual ‘Farm to Table’ Event was proudly presented by Eek Farms last Wednesday afternoon. Over 100 attendees enjoyed the hospitality and bucolic setting of the Sherwood Farm Retreat in ideal late-August conditions. The event reflected so many of King Township’s attributes.
