Sending messages to those we’ve lost

How many of us think about, and even talk to, the dearly departed? How often do we miss hearing their voices or laughter? Recently, while driving home from my radiation treatment at Southlake, I pictured my mom’s face in the cloudy sky above. I began to cry.

Community engaged through Official Plan review

King’s guiding document – the Our King Official Plan – presents an orderly, coordinated planning approach through 2051. Staff presented an update to council recently, including a vast array of information and data through reports, discussion papers and community feedback. This will culminate in an updated OP, to be presented for approval in 2026.

Caledon residents welcome human rights activists during visit to Canada

Several Caledon residents, and alumni of St. Michael Catholic Secondary School, held a mini reunion of sorts. Former staff and students rolled out the welcome mat for a Dominican-based “hero,” a powerhouse who continues to fight for human rights.
