Red Wings capture Silver Stick title

The Schomberg Juvenile Red Wings claimed the Regional Silver Stick Championship after defeating the Belmont Rangers 9-3 recently. They went into the finals as the top team in the group with a 3-0 record.  Next stop will be the 41st annual Silver Stick Juvenile Finals in Mooretown on January 9-12, 2014. Hockey legend Paul Henderson (far right) was also at the tournament in Lucknow, Ontario, to congratulate Schomberg and present the awards. He commented on the boys’ great sportsmanship throughout the three-day tournament.
