A 16-year-old female youth has been charged in connection with the June 23 robbery of a King City bank.
York Regional Police report the 16-year-old female, of no fixed address, has been charged with robbery with a firearm; disguise with intent, and breach of probation.
The robbery occurred in the area of King Road and Keele (police said they prefer not to name the actual bank involved) at 1:05 p.m. A lone female suspect in the bank indicated she had a firearm and demanded cash. She fled the scene on foot with a quantity of cash.
