NobleKing midgets down Innisfil foes 5-1

The NobleKing Knights midget LL 1 team played host to the Innisfil Winterhawks LL 2 team and did not disappoint the home crowd, scoring their way to a 5 – 1 win on Saturday.
It was a back and forth match for the majority of the first two periods, as both teams were held scoreless after the first.
The Knights would be the first to get in the board at 7:25 in the second period to take the lead, but it was the third period when the Knights really broke out, netting four goals to put Innisfil in a hole.
Will Stanton scored two in the period for the Knights, while Owen Adley added two of his own.
Kyle Persons started in net for the Kings and looked solid throughout, making some big stops to keep his team in the hunt for the win.
This Knights squad will now look to keep that momentum rolling when they face the Lefroy Icebreakers on Dec. 6.
