A King man has many reasons to smile after an instant scratch win netted him a top prize.
Anthony Tangreda of King Township, won $250,000 with Instant Bejeweled.
“I was sitting at a store scratching the ticket and all I needed was an E7,” recalled the 26-year-old media manager, while at the OLG Prize Centre where he picked up his winnings. “I was shaking.”
Anthony asked the store manager to validate his scratch ticket. “I couldn't believe it! I decided to go to the self-checker to see for myself. It turns out I won $250,000!”
Tangreda plans to buy a house and invest some of his winnings.
“I'm just waiting for the party to start now. What a great way to begin the new year!” he said.
Instant Bejeweled is a $10 scratch game, with the top prize is $250,000. Odds of winning a prize are 1 in 3.32.
