<content-encoded><![CDATA[Soup-lovers rejoice! Enjoy delicious soups made with locally grown produce from our very own Holland Marsh at Soupfest, coming this Saturday, Oct. 1 to Ansnorveldt Park. The annual fall treat draws thousands of visitors to sample some great blends, some made by local politicians.
In partnership between King Township, Bradford-West Gwillimbury, and the Holland Marsh Growers' Association, no other event highlights local food and its importance than Soupfest.
“I'd encourage anyone who wants to support local chefs and the agricultural community to come out and enjoy some of the best soup you've ever tasted,” said King Township Mayor Steve Pellegrini.
The event runs 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. For more, or to purchase tickets online visit www.soupfest.ca.]]></content-encoded>
