In a regular season that saw Country Day School dominate from start to finish, the Cyclones took home the Senior Boys' DII CISAA championship in a 6-4 win on Friday.
They opened their postseason schedule with a trip to the semi-finals Friday morning, receiving a first-round bye after compiling a 9-0-1 record in CISAA action over the regular season.
Facing off against Crestwood Preparatory College, who they handily defeated 7-2 in a game mid-February, they continued their offensive onslaught by booking their trip to the finals with an 8-2 victory.
Meeting them in the finals was Toronto French School, who held the Cyclones to a close 3-1 game in their last meeting.
This would also prove to be a closely contested game, with the Cyclones coming out on top as CISAA champions in a 6-4 win.
The senior boys were able to hoist the trophy on home ice, winning both games at King City Arena.]]></content-encoded>
