Wakeboarders will have the chance to see who can boost the highest during an all-air showdown at the Ranch Wake Park in King Township this Saturday, June 21. The Red Bull Raise the Bar event returns for the second year featuring a big-air wakeboard competition that goes deep into the evening on the longest day of the year. With a floating kicker, this isn't your usual summer-time limbo party. Riders will have to clear an adjustable high-jump bar to determine air superiority and also demonstrate their rail skills on a slider feature. Red Bull Raise the Bar is open to riders 18+ across Canada, and will feature an open head-to-head format bringing together all skill levels including a handful of national pro riders. The rules are simple; the highest jump wins.  Competitors will have two chances to clear the bar. If they knock the bar down, they are disqualified. If they manage to clear the bar, then they will advance to the next round and with that, raise the height. To sweeten the deal, competitors will have a shot at $500 in prize money for the highest jump, along with a $50 purse for Best Trick on the rail feature. Registration is open now until the start of the event via http://redbull.ca/raisethebar for all competitors 18 years of age or older.  Cost of registration is free (waiver to be signed on site). Those not competing will still have a chance to win with the Red Bull Raise the Bar photo contest. Fans can upload their best shots to Instagram and Twiter using the hashtag #RedBullRTB to be automatically entered in the contest and a chance to walk away with some sweet prizes care of Oakley. The Ranch Wake Park opened its doors in the summer of 2011 to cater southern Ontario's growing population of wakeboarders. Since that time, the park has grown into one of the premier cable wakeboarding facilities in Ontario and the closest in proximity to Toronto.  Competitors can celebrate the longest day of the year by camping overnight at the park.
