Cultivating connections in agri-food business


The King Chamber of Commerce, York Small Business Enterprise Centre, Township of King, Ontario Ministry of Agriculture and Food and York Federation of Agriculture are pleased to announce “Cultivating Connections in Agri-Food Business” – an event for agricultural and food-oriented stakeholders.
The event takes place Nov. 20 from 3-6 p.m. at the Holland Marsh Wineries, 18270 Keele Street, north of Highway 9.
Those attending will learn about the importance of agriculture and related industry in the Township of King and throughout York Region. Learn from a panel of agri-food business owners how their businesses evolved, challenges they faced and tips for success. Connect with organizations and learn about services and resources for starting or growing a business. Network with local business owners and operators in an informal setting while enjoying a selection of finger foods made with local ingredients.
Visitors will also experience a Holland Marsh Wineries tour and tasting during the latter part of the program.
