There is going to be some train transportation. John Barrington of BA Group estimated that 50% of the truck traffic would be going to and from the trains. I misread the map that shows the route to Nobleton. I thought that it showed the trucks going up Highway 50 from Mayfield. On closer examination, I realize that the route goes north on the Caledon Vaughan Townline, east on the King Road, through Nobleton to Highway 400. My apologies to BA Group for saying that they missed that trucks are prohibited from turning at Highway 50 and the King Road. Their map did not involve Highway 50. The heavy truck traffic from Bolton's proposed Canadian Tire warehouse still concerns me as it will impact on the lovely heritage village of Nobleton. Since Nobleton does not have a bypass, this is a huge issue. Many of the buildings that we love were built in the 1800s and are very close to the King Road. They will be negatively impacted by these heavy tractor trailers. People living on Hawman Ave. (north of and parallel to the King Road) report that their houses shake when a heavy truck goes by on the King. We would like to enjoy our lovely heritage community. Having heavy tractor trailers rumbling through town at all hours of the day and night just ruins this.
