Councillor thanks support for King City FestivalI would like to thank the King City Lions for their unending support of the King City community and also to thank Chris Fasciano, acting director of the Parks and Rec. department for enabling his excellent staff to exercise the kind of leadership and creativity needed to make this our most successful event yet. Particular thanks go to Jon Bell and Amanda Hicks for their support and professionalism in setting the tone for a very well managed day. Special thanks also goes to Patty Fleetwood for providing her experience and guidance to improve this event, and also to Peter Culbertson, for all his hard work since 2011, in continuing to donate long hours to provide great sound and stage management for all of our musical acts. The event was very well attended throughout the day, with great weather and great fun had by all. Finally I would like to thank all of our sponsors.
