Mannara accepts scholarship to Lake Superior State University in Michigan

December 7, 2016   ·   0 Comments

Villanova College senior Michael Mannara signed his National Letter of Intent in front of teachers, family, and friends. Michael is a senior at Villanova and will graduate in the spring.
He has been a part of the Villanova Varsity hockey program for the past 4 years. It is not easy to find the time to play high school hockey, manage a challenging academic schedule, and play in the GTHL. However, his dedication and hard work along with his love for the game allowed him to be an integral part of Villanova’s Hockey program.
Michael is currently playing for the Orangeville Flyers of the OJHL where he is one of the leaders as a defenceman. This past spring Michael decided to take the NCAA route instead of playing in the OHL, by accepting a division 1 NCAA hockey scholarship to Lake Superior State University in Michigan. Michael will begin his collegiate career as a freshmen in 2018.
Villanova College is proud of Michael and would like to wish him the best of luck not only in hockey but also in his studies where he will be majoring in business.
