Drugs stolen from Nobleton pharmacy


Investigators with the York Regional Police Hold-Up Unit are seeking public assistance in identifying a suspect following a pharmacy robbery in Nobleton.
On Wednesday, April 6, just before 2:45 p.m., officers responded to the pharmacy located in the area of King Road and Highway 27, following reports of a robbery. A lone male suspect entered the pharmacy, where he went to the prescriptions counter, placed a gun on the counter and made a demand for drugs. The suspect obtained a quantity of prescription drugs and left the store.
No one was physically injured.
Responding officers searched the area but were unable to locate the suspect. The suspect is described as a white male, clean shaven, 30 to 50 years old, 5'10” with a slim build. He was wearing a black toque, grey sweater-jacket with horizontal stripes with a black hooded sweater underneath, black pants, black shoes and carrying a black gun.
The suspect was last seen leaving the area in a black SUV type vehicle.
The investigation is ongoing.
