A great deal of effort by Township staff and the community has resulted in the first-ever Community Map for King.
“I am delighted to finally be able to hold in my hand a copy of the first edition of our Community Map,” said Mayor Steve Pellegrini at the Aug. 24 council meeting. “Our residents, community groups and local businesses have been asking for a Township map for quite some time and we are pleased to be able to finally provide it.”
The mayor pointed out the map was produced in-house and residents will find it to be a very useful tool.
The map includes an up to date listing of all streets in King City, Nobleton and Schomberg, as well as complete parks and trail routes. It lists all recreational centres, fire halls and libraries. There’s also a section of annual events held in King.
Maps are available for $10 at the municipal office, Nobleton arena, Trisan Centre and local library branches.
