Nobleton TKD members earned medals at their first-ever tournament recently.

By F. Adriano
Six members of Nobleton TKD, participated for the first time Feb. 21, at the 7th annual Legacy TKD tournament, run by Master Facciolo in King City.
The locals ranged from yellow belt to red-stripe.
For some of the students 6 to 13 years of age, this was their first foray into the two-minute sparring competition and they made their instructors, Mr. Adriano, Mr. Gallo, Mr. Rinna and Mr. Scarfo very proud.
Daniel Tofoli, Victoria and Adrian Tuppin and (living up to their last name) Alex, Olivia and Lily Champion each took home a medal for sparring and pattern competition.  Daniel Tofoli, who took double gold, said: “I was a little nervous because I didn't know what to expect but it was really fun.”
One of the black belt instructors, Mr. Gallo, commented that  it is nice to see friendly competition where our students can see how they measure up to students from other clubs.
Nobleton TKD runs classes every Monday and Wednesday evening from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the Dr. William Laceby Nobleton Arena. New members are always welcome for a free trial classes.
