Voters in Ward 2 will get a chance to hear from the four candidates vying to be the next councillor in next month’s municipal election.
The Nobleton Village Association will present an all-candidates’ debate for Ward 2 hopefuls only on Wednesday, Oct. 1 at the Nobleton Arena (upstairs hall). The event runs 7-9:30 p.m. and all residents are welcome to attend.
Candidates will be given a set time to present their platform and views for the ward and King Township, followed by a question-and-answer period. The debate will be moderated by resident Jim Scott.
The debate is being sponsored by John’s No Frills and Tim Hortons.
The candidates running for office in Ward 2 include Peter Grandilli (incumbent), David Boyd, Joe Buscema and Jim Streb.
