Title: Horticultural society extends thanks

The organizers of Schomberg Horticultural Society's Garden tour wish to thank the garden and property owners for participating in this year's garden tour.
All the hard work that went into preparing the gardens for the tour has paid off. Despite the harsh winter and late arrival of spring the gardens looked spectacular.
Record numbers of visitors attended the tour this year. A heartfelt “thank you” also goes out to the volunteers who helped organize the tour and were attending each of the gardens.
All the garden owners of the Schomberg and the Nobleton/King Horticultural  Societies as well as the volunteers are invited  to  join us at the Schomberg Street Gallery on Sept. 14 at 2 p.m. when Major Steve Pellegrini will announce the winner of the most beautiful garden in King Township.
While the organizers are still wrapping up this year's tour they are already busy preparing for next year's event.
Anyone who wishes to have their garden on the tour or would like to nominate a neighbor or friend, who has a beautiful garden, please contact Barb Niemeyer at 905-939-2216.
