Schomberg Farm Tour a great way to kick off March break




Dress warm, wear your boots, breathe the fresh air and have fun. These are all the things you have to remember when you  getting ready for the 10th annual Schomberg Agricultural Farm Tour.
Mark Saturday, March 8, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. for the Schomberg  Farm Tour.
This day you will tour a variety farms that will be educational and bring the bounty (and knowledge) of the local food movement to your table! You and your family  will get an understanding of the work and natural resources required to produce your food, visiting with the animals and farmers, maybe even experience some of the “old ways.”
All of this, plus being outdoors, makes for a delicious and great family day to kick off the March break.
Tickets are $10 per vehicle and can be purchased the week prior to the Farm Tour at the following locations:
Schomberg Rona,  Schomberg True Garden Supplies, Schomberg Pharma Choice, Richvale Saddlery, Tottenham Feed Service, Nobleton Feed Mill, Alliance Agric Turf Bolton and Nobleton Feed Mill.
On the day of the tour you may obtain a ticket at the Schomberg Community Hall, 325 Main Street. Lunch is offered at the Hall so feel free to enjoy a hot dog, homemade soup or chili. For more information visit www.schombergfair.com or call 905-859-0834.
