The King Chamber of Commerce coordinated E-Waste collection in each of the three villages of King City, Nobleton, and Schomberg, May 4.
The board is very grateful for the collaboration and assistance of VisionQuest and GEEP.
The Chamber would like to thank the high school students who were most helpful at the sites, and the residents of King Township for being so diligent in disposing of e-waste, and other recyclable items, so responsibly through the E-Waste Disposal initiative.
The safety vests and work gloves donated by PDI-Priestly Demolition were accepted with gratitude, and were well-used throughout the duration of the event at all three sites.  Appreciation is also extended to the King City and Nobleton Lions Clubs for their part in providing water, soft drinks, snacks, and barbecued hotdogs at the King City and Nobleton sites.
Congratulations to Jim Thacher, of Nobleton, for winning the $50 gift certificate, generously donated for the event by John's No Frills of Nobleton.
Visit the King Chamber website www.kingchamber.com  for more details, including additional photos of the event.
