Taste of Main returns to historic Schomberg Main Street

The annual showcase of Schomberg eateries has returned once more.
Through March 5, residents and visitors are indulging in enticing flavours from Main Streets finest cuisine with seven participating restaurants including Craft Kitchen & Beer Bar, The Schomberg Pub & Patio, Port Soirée, Hollywood Pizza, Leonardo’s Pizzeria & Smokehouse, 307 on Main Café, and Grackle Coffee Company.
The menus range from $15 to $50 with breakfast and lunch options at both cafés, and delicious lunches and dinners at the remaining restaurants. Chefs curated menus for everyone to enjoy, such as polenta fries, lobster ravioli rose, pistachio crusted lamb rack, and craft burrito bowls. Unique dessert options such as lemon lavender crème brûlée and tiramisu lattes are also available. Dine-in restaurants have also created signature cocktails to commemorate the event.

Diners are encouraged to make reservations at Port Soirée, The Schomberg Pub & Patio, and Craft Kitchen & Beer Bar, although walk-ins will be available space permitting. Reservations will not be needed for the other four venues, which will also offer their menus as takeout.
This is the third Taste of Main culinary event planned by the Township’s Economic Development division as part of Phase 2 of the Schomberg Main Street Revitalization Plan, which has been funded through a matching grant to the Township by OMAFRA, the Ontario Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs.
